Lead Pastor

Paul Poyner is the lead pastor at Gulfview Grace. He is a devoted follower of Jesus, committed husband to His amazing wife Tandy, and loving dad to five of the greatest kids in the world: Keelen, Kaden, Kyren, Kenslee, and Kambree. Paul had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home and has been a pastor's kid all of his life. He has practically lived and breathed ministry since the day he was born. His father was the founding pastor of Gulfview Grace in 1981. He is now retired but serves as pastor emeritus within the church family. Paul has a passion to bring God's Word to life, to make it relevant in one's life, and to help others apply it to their life. Paul has attended Moody Bible Institute, Grace College, and holds a Masters degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. And most importantly he is a committed lifelong learner. Paul is a creative visionary, gifted communicator, and has God given abilities in the areas of leadership and counseling. He mostly enjoys counseling pre-marrieds and young marrieds. He loves practicing his carpentry skills with his kids by building just about anything, from elaborate Vacation Bible School sets to tiny houses and believes in the mottos "go big or go home" and "nothing is impossible". One fun fact is that Paul dreams of snow skiing in Colorado on a daily basis... but God's plan is for him to minister in hot and humid Florida.

Youth Pastor

Dustin Zerwas has served as youth pastor at Gulfview Grace since 2013. He has been a part of our church family since 1999. We have seen Dustin grow from a young teen who would drive his very own short school bus (true story) to youth group and now he is a man with a beard that drives everyone crazy (in a good way) with his unique personality. One thing is certain, Dustin loves investing in the lives of students. This is primarily because when he was a teenager he had faithful leaders who poured into his life. He is passionate about students knowing Christ, being rooted, established, built up in God’s word and sent out into the world to be the hands, feet and voice of Jesus Christ. Dustin is married to Natalie, and they have adopted nine children: Walter, Randall, Ashton, Isaac, Bentley, Aiden, Alexia, Callie and Thor. And with a house that currently only has one working bathroom and another in the middle of renovation, you can imagine his family is very close. He enjoys spending time with his family, recording and editing memories, making others laugh, watching sports, and enjoying life… one moment at a time.

Administrative Assistant

We first met Krystal as a teenager, when a friend invited her to attend Code Blue Youth Group, right here at Gulfview Grace. After about a year of faithfully attending, Krystal began to sense God working in her life and came to a realization of her need for a relationship with Jesus and committed her life to Him. In February 2013, Krystal married Mark Trumble, whom she met here within the Gulfview family. One thing that drew the two of them together was their passion to serve the Lord and their genuine heart to serve others. Krystal volunteered within the youth and children’s ministry and ultimately began encouraging other young girls in their relationship with Jesus, just like she had been mentored when she was a young teenager. Providentially, Krystal soon became the Administrative Assistant here at Gulfview. In this staff position she assists with daily operations of the church, helps organize and plan special events, and keeps the rest of the church staff in order. One of the things that she loves about her job is the opportunity to regularly use her God-given ability for designing creative elements that are used in every ministry of our church. Her design fingerprints are literally on every piece of informational material that Gulfview creates to help further God’s Kingdom. Outside of her administrative role Krystal finds much joy in the things of everyday life from photography, water activities, craft projects, children, and spending quality time with her husband.
